After a satisfying career in Europe and the Middle East as a professional volleyball player, Dr. Brand pursued his passion for veterinary medicine. He graduated at the top of his class at St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Brand spent time in general practice before being accepted for a radiology residency with VitalRads, a Teleradiology company in Houston, Texas. His large animal and Ultrasound training was provided by Texas A&M University. He completed his training and successfully passed the board examination in 2020. With an emphasis on radiographs, ultrasound, and CT, Dr. Brand has a primary focus on small animal imaging, but is also experienced with exotics and farm animals. Dr. Brand has spoken at various meetings and conferences as well as teaching at his Alma Mater.
